We are raising contributions to help cover the costs of celebrating the REC Pre-K Class of 2026 graduation this June. This fundraiser will support Mrs. Shore's class, ensuring we make this event unforgettable for our graduates. Join us in making this milestone special!
Flutter & Forage Kickstarter
From the brilliant mind of Diane McRoberts (my mother) comes FLUTTER & FORAGE: An agrotourism farm specialising in mushrooms, butterflies, and bees!
A regenerative mushroom farm gives back to the soil. Forms a healthy relationship with it. We have stripped the land of nutrients, and it is our goal to replenish it.
We will grow several different varieties of Oyster mushrooms, Lion's Mane, and Chicken of the woods. We also will custom grow for orders. We also will focus on the Monarch and Swallowtail Butterflies. The first garden we will build is the "Gratitude Garden". We cannot bring in the Butterflies unless we can feed them first.
"I care about this project because I want to save this land from becoming a box store or town homes that far out value the houses around it. I want to save the current Farmer's lease. Not only save it but work with them to improve the soil without a lot of chemicals. I want to share my passion for growing food and butterflies. I want to build something that will last generations.
